The Egyptian Patent Office at the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and the National Academy of Intellectual Property in Egypt, in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization, organized two training sessions on patent search and examination for patent examiners from Arab countries from 12 to 15 October and for patent examiners from African countries during the period From 2 to 5 November 2020. The Regional Office for Arab Countries and the PCT International Cooperation Division of the World Intellectual Property Organization in cooperation with the Egyptian Patent Office, are organizing a virtual sub-regional meeting on the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) for a number of Arab countries, on October 21-22, 2020.
