From 17th to 21st January, a virtual mission was held under Component 5 of the EU- EGPO Twinning Project. Two experts, one from the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ) and another from the Latvian Patent Office were developing sessions with Egyptian Patent Office (EGPO) patent examiners in order to review different Manuals of Technical Examination Departments from European Patent Offices. The aim of this mission is to establish the basis which allow EGPO to elaborate its own Technical Examination Department Manual.
