The Regional Office for Arab Countries and the PCT International Cooperation Division of the World

Intellectual Property Organization in cooperation with the Egyptian Patent Office, are organizing a virtual

sub-regional meeting on the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) for a number of Arab countries, on October

21-22, 2020. 

The objective of the meeting is to provide basic information about the PCT system and the ePCT for

representatives of patent offices and researchers from Arab countries, as well as to exchange experiences

and knowledge and discuss challenges that may face applicants and patent offices in Arab countries in

using the PCT system.
